Oak Grove Cloetesville African Methodist Episcopal Church on the famous wine route of the Western Province and 45km from Cape Town welcomes you to their web-page, the oldest website on African Methodism in Southern Africa. We endeavour to find out how we fit into God?s plan for mankind, that through our membership we promote a fellowship amongst believers, guided by His principles to gain maturity, and minister through our profession and power to magnify His Name.
Promoting the Gospel of the Kingdom and of Salvation that followers of Christ will do everything in their power to understand God's purpose for mankind. A firm grip on the Old Testament and the great plan revealed in the New Testament is our top priority, realizing that a scathing understanding of it renders our faith useless.
Br>Rev. Pillay challenged the officers and members to take God at His word and really trust Him to develope the ministry here at Cloetesville. We cannot continue with the usual business of reporting 100% budgets and continue worshipping every Sunday with the same amount of worshippers.. Growth can only be retarded by a virus or infection. We need to find out what is preventing the body of Christ from growing and work towards applying the appropriate remedies. In order for us to be successful with the Great Commission we may need to get rid of that which retards growth in this part of God's vineyard. Some of the officers and leaders have embarked on a personal growth programme, and we are now ready to move into the community inviting those who are not of this fold to come and see (John1:46)
Join us through these pages as we introduce you to the people in Cloetesville and the efforts via our ministry to render service especially unto the household of faith
